current I love reading, cuddling with Kim and Bailyn, working with computers, playing The Sims 2, and waiting anxiously for the release of Sims 3.

2005-12-30 - 7:36 a.m. We had a good Christmas. I'm glad it's over. The commercialism makes me want to hurl. Wanna hear what Bailyn got? OK, but be forewarned that this is NOT a comprehensive list. I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of the stuff she got. I'll try to list it in groups of where/when she got things to assist my memory. Here we go (you should probably sing this list to yourself to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas): 3 Bratz dolls, 1 Bratz Babyz Boy doll, set of Bratz sheets, a Baby Bratz sleeping bag, , a Disney Princess CD player, Monopoly, Jr., a dress-up set with shoes and a purse and all that crap, a pink boa, fuzzy socks, 2 kid-sized brooms (a regular one and a push broom), a Wiggles guitar, Barbie pegasuses (pegaci?), A Luv Cub polar bear, a small Cabbage Patch figure/doll, a Disney Princess poster, a big baby doll with a stroller, Trouble, Rush Hour Jr., Sequence For Kids, $200 worth of American Girl stuff for her Bitty Twins, 8 Junie B. Jones books, 7 shirts, lots of odds and ends from my mother, A Cabbage patch Newborn, a Disney Princess stationary and stamp set, some other Disney Princess set w/ makeup and stuff, a very cute blue and pink outfit, (now, from us:) Disney Princess Wall Stickies, a DP canopy, DP sheets, DP blanket, DP clothes hamper, a book called How to Behave and Why, Hide N Seek Hayley (who has a super annoying giggle and is still in her box). Whew. I know I missed some stuff, but that's the majority. Sickening, isn't it? And guess what? We're having Christmas with my brother tomorrow. That won't be a big haul, but she'll probably get 2-3 other things that she seriously doesn't need. I hate Christmas. Why can't we just spend time together? Why does it HAVE to be this major expense? Most of the stuff bought is not needed or even wanted. What a waste. 0 comments so far
